Find your inner creativity by exploring your strength. We all are creative in one way or another, the challenge is to uncover it.
Try looking at yourself in terms of these four skills as we explore planning a party. Does someone else suggest having a party and you jump into action by coming up with guest lists, menus and playlists? Are you the one who chooses the theme and does the shopping, making all the selections for food and decorations? Are you the person who loves to decorate lavishly and set exquisite tables? Or were you the one who suggested the party?
If you can see yourself in one or more of these skill groups, then you have identified your strengths. Your area of creative expertise may lie in certain skill sets. You can choose to focus on those areas where you excel and find ways to let your creativity shine.
Or, you can try to increase your creativity in other areas by volunteering to be involved in those areas. At least now you know that you are creative. To express your creativity is to express your “self.” It’s that simple to love your life.
