How to make a vision board and how to organize the images might not be important for beginners. But this might be a helpful tip, if you like to be organized, make vision boards more often, or if you are a collage or scrap book creator.
It’s much easier and faster to find the right image, if they are sorted. Instead of spending the time sifting through a box with all the images mixed up, you can organize your clippings by categories in flat gift boxes. Write the name of the category on the side of the box, so you can see it when they are stashed. Some examples for categories below:
- People ( photographs of myself, friends and family and people I find inspiring)
- Prosperity images, (money, jewelry, gold bars
- Homes
- Interiors
- Inspiring words and Affirmation
- Travel,
- Lifestyle (fitness, health, food, yoga, meditation, hobby)
- Flowers
Use larger boxes for background pictures and smaller ones for words, flowers etc. Whenever you sit down and your inner creativity calls on you, make it a meditation, to look through magazines and add the images to the appropriate boxes. It’s a nice touch to use pretty boxes, like sturdy brightly colored, or silver and gold boxes, make them part of your decor.
Why not paste images and words onto the boxes as decoration! Just an idea, it would make great vision board boxes. Another fun creative project, like the decoupage boxes of the past but with a modern, twist.
