How to make a vision board and turn it into a creative meditation, is a simple process it’s relaxing and will help to relieve stress. Vision boards are fun to make, you don’t need much space, or many supplies. It’s not messy, besides a few paper clippings that need to be picked up. All you need is a poster board, scissors, glue and a few magazines. Most of my friends and clients who participated in vision board parties were totally delighted and some ignited a more permanent spark of creativity. If you find ways to practice and express your inner creativity, life will be exciting, magical and fun! Trust me I know, when I learned how to express and practice my creativity it has changed my life.
A few minutes of meditation will be helpful before you get started. I created a brief meditation video to help you get into the creative zone. Flipping through magazines is fun, whenever you see something that makes you feel good, rip it out and put it aside. It’s a good idea to collect all the clippings in a box. If you want to be even more organized you can have several boxes, or files for: words, flowers, backgrounds, people, interiors, furniture, gardens, clothes, fitness images, yoga, travel, money, or more. It makes it a lot easier to find things when they are sorted by categories. Once you found the images, cut them out or use the full pages as the first layer and then add cut outs to hide and soften the straight lines of the pages. Have fun making your vision board, you can’t do anything wrong. If your vision, or your dream changes you just make a new one, or add a new image to the old one, it will help you to visualize what you want and to achieve your life goals and dreams. Instead of making your vision board on a large poster board, you can also use a journal, keep your vision board pages in a binder, or make vision board cards if you want it to be more portable.
