It is true we are all the sum of our parts. We are a collection of our experiences, our education and our personalities. We all are creative beings, but some of us never had a chance to practice. If you hear yourself say, I am not creative, do not believe it. Creativity expresses itself in many ways, it can be as simple as problem solving, the way you dress, the way you communicate, the ways you set the table, or singing in the shower.
Yes it might not be obvious, but if you want to discover it you will. There are lots of easy practices that will help, meditation is a very good one to get from left brain to right brain.
We are brought up to rely on intellect, for this reason, creativity may seem difficult to find within ourselves. If exercising creativity has not been part of our upbringing and our daily lives, it may seem as foreign as a being from another planet. Be open to it and it will come.
What sort of new experiences are you trying that will lead to being more creative and thinking outside the box in other areas of your life?
