How To Make A Vision Board And Be Reminded How To Achieve Your Life Goals

Hi, I had the idea to make a really big vision board, to be exact it is 3.5′by 5.5′ and it will decorate one wall in my bedroom.  The vision board sits on a bench with my Buddha, Quan Yin and my Angel. This is for triple good luck,  it doubles as my altar and is a constant reminder of what my life goals are. I know from experience that it’s hard to keep up the positive spirit, but easy to dwell on the negative, vision boards are an excellent reminder to be in touch with your inner creative and to empower your life.

This big vision board took 3 weeks to complete, I worked about 2 hours a day, maybe a total of 40 hours and it was a blissful creative project. I started with a happy photo of myself and placed it in the center. When I looked at the size of the large empty area to  be filled, I thought oh my god I will never get this done and it was a bit overwhelming. But to my delight it turned into a meaningful, fulfilling and empowering creative meditation. I also got totally in touch with my life goals and found new inspiration to dream big!

The picture on the left shows how I started with one image and lots of empty space.

Every image on this vision board has it’s meaning. The animals I chose stand for wisdom, strength and transformation. The colors and the art for playfullness, fun and to express myself. The dollar bills and jewels for abundance and to invite financial freedom. The monks and the Dalai Lama, for spirituality  integrity and living in the present moment.

I added picnics and gatherings of people around tables to invite community, friendship and wonderful meals together. My kids are there to represent family and friends enjoying loving and accepting relation ships.

The eyes are a reminder to myself to keep my eyes open and be aware. Images of India and a cruise ship, because I want to go to India and on a cruise, a special seminar cruise. I can’t help it I just love personal development seminars and to be a participant on a cruise ship sounds so relaxing and inviting.

Pictures of successful, happy, laughing confident women working in a team and I am part of it. Happy looking couples evoke a loving feeling, to invite a wonderful, healthy, harmonious, loving  relationship into my life.

The creation of this big vision board was wonderful, I noticed that I am in a state of bliss when I’m creative, I want that for you!  If you need more instructions on how to make a vision board click the links below.
